HomeWini Smart has made over a dozen trips to the Florida Everglades, sometimes spending a week or so painting there. She likes to paint on the spot in order to capture the feeling of this special area. "The skys, its spaciousness, the abundant wildlife, and a sense of wildness all help inspire new paintings. I'm usually OK, but when painting at alligator holes, I like to keep the easel between me and the water," the artist states.
